A Simple Gift,

A Lasting Impact

It’s easy to feel like you don’t have enough to make a difference—but a quick glance through our photo gallery tells a different story. The classrooms in our school in rural Uganda are incredibly basic: no electricity, no cooling, no running water—just children eager to learn.

Their needs are simple. Their hope is real.

To put it in perspective: A $30 takeout meal in the U.S. can provide lunch for over 7 children for an entire month at Grow Christian School - that’s $4 per child to ensure that students receive the physical energy to learn, grow, and stay in school.

This isn’t just about education. It’s about offering children a place of spiritual development, safety, and hope—children who might otherwise be working to help their families survive.

The call is simple: Your generosity can truly change lives.

Any amount you give in U.S. dollars stretches a long way in Uganda.

  • A classroom filled with young children sitting on the floor, some with notebooks, in a brightly decorated room with colorful educational posters on the walls, and large open windows letting in natural light.

Lunch at School — Just $4/month per child!

For only $4, you can provide a month of school lunches for one child. Some students receive partial support, while others rely entirely on the school for food. Without lunch, many walk home—sometimes to find there's no food at all. Hunger affects focus, attendance, and a child’s sense of dignity. Your gift brings not just nourishment, but hope, equality, and a better chance to learn.

  • Provide a Full-Ride Scholarship — $400/year!

For just $400 a year, you can provide a full scholarship covering tuition, meals, and dormitory for a bright child in need. Many sponsored students are orphans or come from families who cannot afford school fees. Your support offers vital relief to families and opens the door to education and a brighter future for a bright child.

  • People gather outdoors in a rural area, lined up to buy water in plastic jerry cans, with trees and an open sky in the background.

Top Need: Help Fund Water Access via a School Well — $10,000

Right now, students share a single borehole with thousands from neighboring villages—sometimes waiting over 30 minutes just to get a sip of water. The school urgently needs its own borehole well to reduce wait times and provide consistent access to clean water. A dedicated well on campus would ease the burden on both students and the broader community. Your donation brings clean water closer to where it’s needed most. This is a picture of the line for the borehole during peak hours.

  • Close-up of a rusty chain-link fence with blurred green background.

Wall Fence for School Security — $17,000

A secure wall fence is urgently needed to protect students and staff. With growing concerns about crime in the area, especially at night, this fence will provide safety for students who board at the school and help keep intruders out. Your support will create a safe learning environment and peace of mind for everyone on campus.

  • A brick building under construction with cylindrical brick columns and a corrugated metal roof.

Boys' and Girls' Pit Latrine (Restroom) — $8,350

$8,350 each, 2 needed - Right now, over 500 students and teachers share a single latrine that must be emptied every year. Building a separate latrine for girls and boys will offer greater privacy, improved hygiene, and a more dignified school experience. Your gift helps provide safe, sanitary facilities where students can thrive.

  • A solar panel installed outdoors on a paved surface, tilted at an angle.

Solar Battery for Reliable Electricity — $1,000

The school’s village has no access to electricity. While there is a solar panel, it currently lacks a solar battery to store power. With a battery, the school can provide light for students to study at night and increase safety on campus after dark. Your gift helps bring light, learning, and security to the school.

  • A single-story yellow house with four windows and a front porch, surrounded by trees and a grassy yard.

    Multipurpose Dining Hall — $23,000

The Ugandan government requires students to eat in one designated space, but currently, they eat outside on the grass. When it rains—and it sometimes rains heavily—mealtime is disrupted entirely. A proper dining hall would provide shelter, serve as an exam and assembly space, and reduce conflict between students who have lunch and those who do not. Your donation helps create a safe, dignified, and multipurpose space for all students.

  • Single-story yellow house with gable roof and front porch, surrounded by trees and grass.

    Administrative Building — $23,000

Currently, the school operates from small, makeshift rooms with limited space for staff. A dedicated administration building will provide each department with the space needed to plan, coordinate, and run programs more effectively. Your support helps strengthen the foundation of the school’s operations and impact.
